About Us
HomeStretch is an Award-Winning Edmonton based Developer, Construction Manager, and General Contractor specializing in multi-family construction.
Development Management - We first work with you to define the project outcomes and then we utilize our network of architects and engineers along with knowledge of market analysis, city process, pro forma, and financing to get project ready to start construction. With a heavy focus on drawing technical review and value engineering we set projects up for success.
Construction Management Approach – We join your team at the project initiation phase and work with you by providing budgeting and cost information as well as value engineering. This method ensures that the building the architect is designing can be built to your budget. Too often beautiful buildings are designed only to have owners find out at project bidding that it is way over budget. In this methodology, we charge a small fee for services during pre-construction and a percent of costs fee during construction.
General Contracting Approach – If you have a building designed already and want someone to build it, or if you just prefer the time-tested Design / Bid / Build approach, we can do that too.

Passive House
An internationally recognized standard for creating energy efficient buildings that are energy efficient, comfortable, affordable, and ecological all at the same time. Buildings built to this standard consume about 90% less heating energy than older buildings and 75% less energy than the average newly constructed building. Today’s tenants are demanding more than a place to live. Increasingly the sustainability of how their home was built and its ongoing contribution to fighting climate change are deciding factors in where to rent or buy. HomeStretch is Edmonton’s only certified Passive House builder.
Built Green
While energy efficiency is a fundamental component of this program, this program goes beyond energy efficiency, moving the industry toward a more holistic approach to sustainable building practices. An approach that includes the preservation of natural resources, reduction of pollution, ventilation and air quality, and the improvement of home durability.
Safety
We are committed to ensuring a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment. Through adherence to all safe work practices, detailed safety policies & procedures for all workers, team members, stakeholders & visitors, we fulfill that commitment.
Every worker has the right to go home safe and healthy each day. Our unwavering commitment to our safety program and the implementation of proven safety practices allows us to ensure this happens.
Our greatest asset is the group of people working on our projects. There is a direct correlation between safety & productivity. We have a direct responsibility to enforce & monitor project safety.
Our safety policies are regularly updated with current industry procedures. We are dedicated to ensuring that our personnel receive the latest training and education available, not only through Occupational Health and Safety but Alberta Construction Safety Association as well as other safety organizations. We work with our trade partners daily to ensure they are following these procedures via site orientations & informational training sessions.
